So guess who MIGHT be joining softball again. I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW I've said 3 bajillion times that I wasn't gonna do it this year but I say that LITERALLY every year. It's just that every spring I get bored AF after school. I want hype moments and aura. PLEASE DON'T EXECUTE ME FOR BEING WISHY WASHY.
If you hear me complaining about it (if I do join) please be kind and tell me to shut up for 5 minutes and do some deep breathing.
Okay so this might be a bit more of a meta blog post but in an earlier rendition of the blog page I mentioned how I stopped updating it because I got a diary. Now it's the opposite (kind of). It's just so much easier for me to type whatever I feel like on here. I guess when I was using my diary more regularly it was about more serious personal stuff but then I #healed and started updating it with stuff like "today I had a really good cookie and saw my friend and I had fun" but then I just got another smaller notebook to write that kind of stuff in so ... yeah my little diary has been a bit neglected. It's like a friend I haven't seen in awhile but don't really want to call because it would take too much effort to update them on everything that has happened in my life.
Also I've been meaning to make more pages and TBH it's not even that it's hard for me like this page took me an afternoon because I got really obsessed with it. I just haven't yet because I'm kind of scared it will look like doodoocrapsloppoop but like whatever bro. I think I'm just lazy and not in the mood to get in the html flow state. I also have hella studying to do but whatevvaaarrr.
I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed during ski week so during the time I'm recovering from that I'll probably get back into html for real. I'm just kind of scared because I have this really important photo that's going to be taken of me for this school thing and if I look swollen for that I'm going to kill one of the hostages bro it's not even funny. It's like a week after though so I'll live.

Hey there! I've had a pretty alright week. I was sick on Tuesday but overall I've been pretty productive. My goal for January was to ... not buy anything? Or more accurately, to not buy boba/snacks/any inexpensive weekly purchase. And I succeeded! Woo! I mean it wasn't too hard since a lot of the time I was too busy during my lunches to buy anything. Plus it's winter and I don't really have an appetite for boba during the colder months.
So what's my goal this month? To lower my screen time! It's been pretty bad lately. I mean it's a little tricky because I do enjoy digital art and reading online, but most of the time I'm just scrolling. So maybe I should just specifically make it a goal to stop scrolling? Also to start tracking the hours I spend on my computer... that's kind of scary though...
Another thing and this is kind of niche but it's about time I talk about my interests on here. TBFR I want to make a separate page for that but I haven't yet so I'm gonna rant here. So, I haven't deeply explored all of the Hetamedia (outside of the anime & manga) out there, only bits and pieces. I listen to a few of the songs, watched a couple clips of the musical, so on and so forth. But recently I've been OBSESSED with a few character songs. Namely: Absolutely Invincible British Gentleman, The Delicious Tomato Song, Hello China, and all of Russia's character songs. Specifically, Winter has been doing things to me. It's seasonal.
I feel like I should've had my Hetalia phase like 6 years ago tbh cuz it's a little embarrassing to be listening to anime songs now but hey... my music taste has never been predictable and that's why I like it.
I've actually been meaning to get into more anime and video games but it has to come to me naturally (through fanart I think is cool). I've never been the type of person to watch an anime or play a game that someone recommends to me even if I like the person a lot. Whenever I say "I've been meaning to get into that" it's code for "I liked 1 piece of fanart for it 2 years ago but I am too obsessed with The Show/The Game/The Book to watch that right now." I'll work on it, I guess.

Today I planned to go thrifting and on a hike, but I only got the first part done because around 3 I started feeling a little bit sick. I've been feeling sick throughout this week, but not sick enough to justify staying at home. Anyways, I did find some new jeans at the thrift store. They're almost identical to my current favorite pair. I've been meaning to get some new ones for awhile, so I'm glad it worked out.
I did also want a new sweatshirt, but I didn't end up finding anything. The thrift store was tiny and crowded, so maybe I should try on a less busy day in order to prevent becoming overwhelmed quickly.
Anyways, I've done some knitting here, some reading there, but I haven't been super productive today. I suppose Saturday is simply my day to be a little bit lazy. When I'm living on my own, I imagine myself getting all my errands done on Sunday, leaving Saturday as a day to enjoy myself and take little cat naps here and there.
What are weekends like for real adults? I guess it depends how energized one is after a week of work.
Speaking of which, I know it's everyone's dream, and even in some ways my own, but I don't believe I would enjoy working remotely very much. I'm more productive in an actual work environment than I am at home. And, I can get quite stir-crazy to tell you the truth. Though my opinion will surely change once I actually start working.
Hallo! Today, I was productive and practiced several calc problems. I think I'm more productive earlier in the day. Though, I got a little bit lazy and didn't do any German modules... Perhaps I will do them this evening.
